PAY
 Implement the trade unions demand for a £5 an hour minimum wage as a step towards a £7 an hour or £280 a week minimum income ( based on the European decency threshold ). No exemptions. For an annual increase in the minimum wage, linked to average earnings.
WORK
 Reject welfare to work; for the right to decent benefits, training or a job without compulsion.
FULL-EMPLOYMENT

A range of policies to acheive full employment including the introduction of a maximum 35-hour week without loss of pay. A massive increase of public spending into healthcare, housing education, childcare, leisure and community facilities.

RIGHTS
 Employment protection rights for all from day one of emplyment.
UNIONS
 Scrapping the anti-union laws. Trade unions to be democratically controlled by members. Full-time officials should be regularly elected and receive the wage of an average worker.
OWNERSHIP
 No to the fat cats. Renationalise the privatised utilities under democratic working class control.

PENSIONS

 For a living pension for all pnsioners - with annual increases linked to average earnings.
EDUCATION
 Free, good quality education for all from nursery to university, with a living grant, Abolish fees now!
HEALTH
 Rebuild the National Health Service, free at the point of use and under democratic control.
HOUSING
 Decent housing, with affordable rents. End the housing crisis.
ABORTION
 Defend abortion rights. For a woman's right to choose when and whether to have children.
TRANSPORT
 Major investment into a cheap, accessible, integrated publicly owned transport system which meets the needs of the people and the environment.
ASYLUM
 For the right to asylum. The scrapping of the Asylum and Immigration Bill and of all other racist laws.
JUSTICE
 An end to police harassment. For the abolition of the Crimminal Justice Act. Scrap Straw's so-called 'terrorism' bill. No curtailment of jury trials.
EQUALITY
 An end to discrimination on the grounds of race, sex, sexuality, disability and all forms of prejudice.
EUROPE
 For soldidarity of the European working class. No to Maastricht. Oppose the bosses' European Community, For a socialist Europe.
SOCIALISM
 Take into public ownership the top 150 big companies,banks, building societies that dominate the economy; under democratic working-class control and management. Compenstation to be paid on the basis of proven need.
PARTY
 Campaigning to form a new mass party of the working class.
THE FUTURE
 An end to the rule of profit. For a socialist plan of production. For a socialist society and economy run to meet the needs of all whilst protecting the environment.
